We are currently recruiting experienced Groundworkers / Machine Drivers to join a reputable groundworks subcontractor on a Tier One contractor site in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work on a high-profile project with strong site standards and long-term potential.

Your new role

• Carry out all aspects of groundwork, including drainage, foundations, and finishing works
• Operate plant machinery safely and efficiently (e.g. 360 excavators, dumpers, rollers)
• Assist with digging trenches, ducting, kerbing, and concrete works
• Work closely with site management to meet deadlines and maintain productivity
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations

What you'll need to succeed

• Valid CSCS card (essential)
• Valid CPCS or NPORS machine ticket (for plant operation)
• Proven experience working on Tier One contractor sites
• Strong knowledge of groundworks and construction practices
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Full PPE
