Reed Accountancy Coventry are working with a well-established business operating across multiple sales channels.  Owner-managed environment with a small but structured finance team. Hands-on, commercially focused culture.

This is a varied Finance Assistant role combining core transactional finance with general office support.  Weighted towards purchase ledger, sales ledger, reconciliations and credit control, with exposure to management accounts preparation over time.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Full purchase ledger: invoice processing, queries and payments
  • Sales ledger: raising invoices, allocating receipts
  • Bank, supplier statement and petty cash reconciliations
  • Credit control – overdue debt chasing by phone and email
  • Support with VAT returns and monthly management accounts
  • Ad-hoc finance admin as required by Finance Manager
  • Stationery and office supplies ordering
  • Liaison with external suppliers where needed
