Job Title: Production Operative / General Operative

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing site in the Barnsley area. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and a proactive attitude, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Working on filling and production lines

• Receiving and unloading incoming deliveries

• Carrying out general site and factory duties

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

• Supporting day-to-day production operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred

• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is desirable (but not essential)

• Good attention to detail and health & safety awareness

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Pay & Hours

• £12.71 per hour

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

• Opportunity to secure a permanent contract after a successful temporary period
