Operations Coordinator / Scheduler / Immediate Start

Location: Basildon

Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator / Scheduler to join a growing and fast-paced business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on planning, coordination, and keeping operations running smoothly.

The Role:

You’ll play a central role in coordinating nationwide schedules, ensuring technicians are deployed efficiently and all operational activities are delivered on time. This is a busy, hands-on position where strong organisation and communication skills are key.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate daily schedules for field-based technicians
  • Act as the main point of contact between office, engineers, suppliers, and customers
  • Ensure all jobs are booked, tracked, and completed within deadlines
  • Monitor workloads and adjust schedules to maximise efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records, systems, and operational data
  • Prepare reports and update job documentation as required
  • Support the smooth running of operations through effective coordination and communication
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in scheduling, coordination, or operations support
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Good IT skills and experience using systems/databases
  • Knowledge of UK geography (advantageous)
