About the Role

We are working with a stunning boutique hotel in West Lothian to recruit a talented Relief Chef to join their kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established venue with a growing reputation for quality food and service.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dishes across a busy 130-cover bar and restaurant, contributing to the continued growth and success of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes to a consistent standard
  • Work across all sections as required in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
  • Assist with stock control, prep, and service during busy periods
  • Contribute ideas to menus and specials where appropriate

About You

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume kitchen
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy 130-cover operation
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for quality food
  • Flexible and reliable with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Up-to-date food hygiene certification preferred
