We are recruiting for a Case Handler Assistant to support a busy team in managing client case files, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent customer service in line with company standards.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support the end-to-end management of case files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely progression.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for client queries, providing updates and resolving issues where possible.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Ensure all case documentation is correctly recorded, updated, and stored in accordance with company procedures.
  • Monitor case progress and escalate issues as necessary to senior case handlers or managers.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Contribute to the achievement of team KPIs and SLAs.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to processes to enhance customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality, and security standards.
  • Provide accurate administrative support including data entry, reporting, and correspondence handling.
  • Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the case lifecycle.
  • Participate in team meetings and operational discussions to drive improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative, customer service, case handling, or support role.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office / Windows applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with CRM systems or aptitude to learn.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Desirable: Experience in finance, legal, insurance, or regulated environments; understanding of case management systems; basic knowledge of compliance or regulated services.
