Brand Manager / General Sales Manager - Main Dealer

Location: Swindon

Salary: Up to £35,000 basic per annum plus bonus, OTE £60,000+pa

Working Hours: Mon - Friday 8:30 - 6pm, including Saturdays on rota

Ethos Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established dealership who are now looking to recruit an experienced General Sales Manager / Brand Manager to lead their successful sales department in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to take responsibility for the performance and development of a high-performing sales team.

The Role

As General Sales Manager / Brand Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sales department, ensuring sales targets are met while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction levels.

Key Responsibilities of a General Sales Manager / Brand Manager

• Managing and motivating the Sales Executive team to achieve and exceed targets
• Overseeing the full vehicle sales process from enquiry through to delivery
• Monitoring sales performance, KPIs, and profitability
• Managing stock levels and vehicle ordering
• Driving finance and insurance penetration within the sales department
• Coaching and developing team members to maximise performance
• Ensuring the dealership maintains high levels of customer satisfaction
• Reporting on sales performance to senior management

Requirements of a General Sales Manager / Brand Manager:

• Previous experience as a General Sales Manager / Sales Manager/ Sales Controller / Business Manager / Transaction Manager / Brand Manager within the motor trade
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong understanding of finance and insurance products
• Full UK driving licence
