As Head of People, you will lead and evolve their people strategy across the full employee lifecycle. You will partner closely with senior leaders to build a high-performing, inclusive, and values-driven organisation where people can grow and thrive.
You will balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, bringing both commercial awareness and emotional intelligence to everything you do.
Key Deliverables - Develop initiatives that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, belonging, and retention
- Foster an environment where feedback, recognition, and continuous improvement are embedded
- Lead cultural initiatives that support organisational growth and change
- Champion and strengthen a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture
- Develop and deliver a people strategy aligned to organisational goals and values
- Use data and insight to inform workforce planning, engagement, and performance initiatives
- Partner with leadership teams to support organisational design and capability development
- Build an outstanding candidate experience and employer brand
- Lead talent acquisition strategies to attract diverse, high-calibre talent
- Develop onboarding experiences that help people feel connected and successful from day one
- Coach and support managers to become confident, people-focused leaders
- Lead performance and development frameworks that enable growth and accountability
- Support learning and development initiatives across all levels of the organisation
- Ensure people policies, practices, and processes are effective, scalable, and compliant
- Oversee employee relations matters with fairness, empathy, and professionalism
The Right Candidate - Significant experience in a senior People / HR leadership role
- A proven track record of building strong workplace cultures
- Excellent coaching and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and organisational understanding
- Experience leading change and supporting organisational growth
- A collaborative and pragmatic approach
- Confidence working both strategically and operationally
- A passion for creating environments where people can do their best work
- CIPD qualified
