Are you ready to take on a dynamic role in a thriving manufacturing environment? Our client is seeking a motivated and organized Stores Person to join their team in Fengate, Peterborough! If you have a knack for managing inventory, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring smooth operations, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:
As a Stores Person, you will play a critical role in managing the internal purchasing and sales of products and services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Organizing purchasing orders for goods and materials.
• Liaising with various departments to ensure timely ordering of goods.
• Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices.
• Reviewing inventory levels and placing orders as needed.
• Ensuring prompt invoicing of goods and services.
• Monitoring incoming deliveries for discrepancies.
• Tracking orders and verifying purchase orders, delivered goods, and supplier invoices.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety in the workplace.

Key Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Essential:

• Smart, well-presented, and an excellent communicator.
• Computer literate with experience in Sage Accounts, MS Office, and Excel.
• Proven ability to organize and prioritize workloads effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with customers and suppliers.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a Stores Department.
• Fork Lift Truck License.
• Experience engaging with customers in a pressured environment.
