• Daily Salary: £168.80 - £215.68
• Paid to scale from day one
• Start: September 2026 – July 2027 (Full academic year)

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons aligned with the national curriculum for Year 1 students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to ensure all students achieve their potential.
• Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes well-being and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
• Engage with parents and guardians to support student learning and development.
• Participate in and contribute to ongoing professional development and training sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching at the primary level, with specific experience in KS1 preferred.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire young learners.
• Commitment to professional development and learning.
• Able to facilitate and manage transition from Reception to Year 1effectively
• Ability to communicate with parents and caregivers professionally
