The Role As a
Private Client Tax Manager, you’ll take ownership of a varied client portfolio, providing expert advice on all aspects of personal tax planning and compliance. You’ll build long-term relationships with clients, support junior team members, and play an active role in developing and enhancing our private client offering.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage a portfolio of private clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality compliance and advisory work
- Provide tailored tax planning and wealth management advice to high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and trusts
- Review complex tax computations and returns prepared by junior staff
- Oversee client relationships, identify tax-saving opportunities, and provide proactive guidance
- Support senior management with business development and contribute to practice growth
- Mentor and develop junior team members
About You You’ll be an experienced private client tax specialist who enjoys working closely with clients and delivering high-quality, practical advice. You’ll also be confident managing projects and supporting a team in a collaborative environment.
You’ll ideally have: - CTA, ATT, or ACA qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in personal tax within a practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge across income tax, CGT, IHT, and trust taxation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, commercial mindset and commitment to client service
