Management Accountant (Maternity Cover) – Hayes – 12 Months paying up to £40,000 per annum

About the Job

This is a key position within the finance team, supporting the Finance Manager in delivering accurate financial reporting and insight. The role plays an integral part in month-end processes and wider financial operations, while also collaborating with international colleagues.

Duties will include:

• Supporting month-end close activities and preparing monthly management accounts
• Producing financial reports including profit & loss, balance sheet and cashflow statements
• Analysing variances against budgets, forecasts and historical data, providing clear commentary
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with forecasting processes and reporting on business performance
• Preparing sales and KPI reports for internal stakeholders
• Maintaining accruals, prepayments and provisions
• Supporting accounts payable and receivable processes when required
• Liaising with auditors and handling documentation requests
• Managing financial data within internal systems and supporting regulatory submissions
• Assisting with ad hoc financial projects and wider team initiatives

About the Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be part-qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least two years’ experience in a similar role. You will possess strong Excel skills and be confident handling large datasets. A proactive and detail-oriented approach is essential, alongside good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams, including internationally.
