Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and grow senior-level relationships with corporate clients across the UK T&L sector
Originate new business opportunities and expand existing relationships in line with strategic priorities
Lead transactions end-to-end, including structuring, negotiation, and execution alongside product teams
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, engaging regularly with Treasury and C-suite stakeholders
Develop and execute strategic client account plans to maximise long-term value
Identify sector trends, risks, and opportunities, contributing to broader team strategy
Coordinate internal stakeholders across products and geographies to deliver integrated solutions
Lead pitch development and client presentations to secure new mandates
Take ownership of portfolio performance, including revenue generation, credit quality, and risk management
Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and KYC requirements
Contribute to a collaborative team culture through coaching, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Expertise
10+ years' experience in corporate or investment banking, with Director-level exposure in client coverage or origination
Strong track record within the UK Transportation & Logistics sector, with demonstrable client relationships
Proven ability to originate business, lead deal execution, and deliver against revenue targets
Experience across lending, capital markets, and advisory products
Sound understanding of credit risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
Background within an international banking environment preferred
Qualifications
Degree from a leading university (2:1 or equivalent or above)
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
