Catering Lecturer – Hospitality & Catering (Level 1 & 2)

We are currently seeking an experienced Hospitality & Catering Lecturer to provide temporary cover at our Wythenshawe Campus, delivering Level 1 and Level 2 practical and theory lessons.

This role is ideal for a hands-on catering professional with teaching experience who can confidently support learners in both kitchen-based practical sessions and classroom theory.

Role Details

• Position: Catering Lecturer (Hospitality & Catering)
• Location: Wythenshawe Campus (Openshaw TMC)
• Contract: Temporary cover
• Pay Rate: £30+ per hour
• Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
• Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm each day

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Level 1 & 2 Hospitality and Catering lessons (practical and theory)
• Plan and prepare lessons in line with the curriculum
• Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain a safe, professional learning environment
• Support learner progression and achievement

Requirements

• Experience teaching Hospitality & Catering (FE preferred)
• Strong practical catering skills and subject knowledge
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
• Ability to manage both kitchen and classroom environments
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
