Maintenance Supervisor in London and Maintenance Specialist required to work for a successful London company. The supervisor will oversee a team of mobile engineers delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites. The specialist will be part of the team. 2 x jobs

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who still enjoys being on the tools, while also taking responsibility for coordinating workloads, maintaining standards, and supporting a team in the field.

You’ll be responsible for keeping operations running smoothly day-to-day, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main escalation point for technical issues and on-site challenges
• Adjust schedules and workloads in real time to respond to urgent maintenance needs
• Support engineers with complex repairs and fault finding when required
• Monitor performance levels and drive improvements across the team
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety and regulatory standards
• Oversee daily planning using maintenance systems and scheduling tools
• Carry out audits of completed works, reporting accuracy, and general standards
• Supervise and support a team of mobile maintenance engineers
• Maintain accurate records, job updates, and reporting systems

Experience & Requirements

• Previous experience (preferable for the supervising role) supervising or leading a mobile or field-based engineering team
• Strong background as a hands-on Maintenance Engineer
• Confident using CMMS or similar maintenance scheduling systems
• Able to make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable dealing with client queries and resolving issues
• Practical, proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership
