We are looking for an Internal Engineering Recruiter with 3+ years recruitment experience to join our team in a delivery-focused role, sourcing specialist engineering contractors across the UK and Europe.
This is a candidate-focused position, not a sales role. It is ideal for recruiters who enjoy sourcing and delivery, and want to move away from sales-driven environments.
Our work centres on supporting aerospace and manufacturing programmes, sourcing specialist contractors for technically demanding roles within regulated environments. Much of your work will involve identifying hard-to-find engineering professionals, particularly within quality, inspection and manufacturing disciplines, who are not actively applying for roles.
What you will be doing:
- Sourcing engineering and technical contractors across the UK and Europe
- Using LinkedIn, job boards and direct search techniques to identify candidates
- Screening CVs against detailed technical requirements
- Managing candidate engagement and rate discussions
- Coordinating testing and gathering compliance documentation
- Building strong pipelines of specialist engineering talent
We’re looking for someone with:
- 3+ years recruitment experience
- Experience recruiting within engineering, manufacturing, technical or industrial sectors
- Exposure to contract recruitment (highly beneficial)
- Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills
- A professional and organised working style
- A consistent career history demonstrating reliability
Experience within aerospace or defence is beneficial but not essential. Candidates from automotive, manufacturing, rail, industrial or energy recruitment backgrounds are also highly relevant.
