Administrator - HS2 Main Works

You will be working in the HS2 Main Works, the SCS Joint Venture with Costain and Strabag, our HS2 Main Works South team is delivering one of the UK's most ambitious infrastructure projects - 26 miles of tunnels from London Euston to West Ruislip, along with viaducts, bridges and embankments that will connect communities for generations.

We are currently looking for an Administrator who will:

As the Administrator, you will:

  • Liaising between Tunnels & Shafts (main) and compounds
  • Dealing with the internal starters & leavers process for Tunnels & Shafts Delivery Unit
  • Managing two minivan drivers and handling the minivans (maintenance / service bookings)
  • Reporting eventual faults or needs, following up
  • Carryout periodical H&S inspections and maintain accurate records
  • Organising meetings / booking rooms, updating access lists
  • Parking permits (creating permits, updating lists, interact with other compound car parks)
  • Procurement (evaluating needs, creating requisitions, supporting deliveries, dealing with receipts)
  • Meeting & Greeting Customers/Suppliers
  • Consulting with employers/managers to identify the needs for the company, such as staff movements and department staffing requirements
  • Resolving issues between management and employees

We are looking for:

  • Competent in IT skills
  • Experience of Microsoft Office
  • Training will be given on bespoke software applications
  • Good communication skills
