Credit Controller x2 - Ongoing Temporary

Hybrid: 3 days office (Central London) | 2 days home

My client, a leading recycling company, is looking to recruit two Credit Controllers/Account managers to join their finance team on an ongoing temporary basis

This is a fantastic opportunity for proactive and confident professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building strong client relationships while ensuring timely cash collection.

The Role

As Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing outstanding debt, resolving account queries, and ensuring debtor payments are received within agreed terms. You will play a key role in supporting cash flow and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Chasing overdue invoices via phone, email and letter
• Cash allocation and daily cash postings
• Dispute resolution and account reconciliation
• Raising sales invoices and credit notes
• Processing payments (card, direct debit, foreign payments)
• Assisting with purchase ledger duties
• Supporting month-end processes and reporting
• Negotiating payment plans where required
• Encouraging customers to move to Direct Debit
• Maintaining accurate records and audit trails

About You

• Proven credit control experience
• Excellent telephone manner with confidence collecting debt
• Target-driven and commercially aware
• Strong Excel skills and experience with web-based systems
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Able to work effectively under pressure
• Positive, "can-do" attitude with a strong work ethic

The Offer

• £15.00 per hour
• Hybrid working (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in the office)
• Central London location
• Ongoing temporary positions with potential to become permanent
