We are seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Paralegal to join a dynamic legal team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in personal injury law, excellent organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks from client interviews to attending hearings and managing case documents.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Interview clients and witnesses to gather case-relevant information.
  • Manage, sort, and paginate medical records; review and summarise these records and draft letters of instruction to medical experts.
  • Conduct thorough research on quantum, liability, and medical issues relevant to cases.
  • Draft legal documents including witness statements, lists of documents, PAD applications, instructions to counsel, risk assessments, and brief schedules of losses and costs.
  • Attend simple hearings, such as PAD applications, and participate in client meetings to discuss case strategies and evidence requirements.
  • Compile and review court bundles for hearings, trials, and conferences.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives and participate in site visits and legal conferences.
  • Manage scheduling, appointments, and diary entries to meet all team deadlines.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and carrying out errands as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal.
  • General understanding of personal injury law and familiarity with funding procedures, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in legal software.
  • Team player with the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
