Housekeeper – Private Clinic (Harley Street, London)

Salary: £27,000 – £28,000 per annum

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm (Full-time)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join a prestigious private clinic located on Harley Street. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional healthcare environment where high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation are essential to patient care and overall experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general light cleaning duties throughout the day, including wiping equipment and airing consultation rooms
• Ensure patient areas are maintained to the highest standards, including proper handling and storage of patient-related materials in line with clinic procedures
• Maintain high hygiene standards across both clinical and non-clinical areas
• Manage post and deliveries efficiently
• Laundry and ironing of linens and uniforms
• Clean bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
• Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals and disinfectants
• Run errands to support the smooth operation of the clinic (e.g. collecting consumables and kitchen supplies)
• Liaise effectively with nurses and other clinical staff

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• A proactive, customer-focused attitude
• Good physical fitness, including the ability to lift, stretch, and carry out manual tasks
• Previous housekeeping experience, ideally within a private healthcare setting, is essential
• Very good level of English (spoken and written)
