Due to continued growth and increased demand for our services, Precedo Healthcare is recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to provide dedicated one-to-one support to service users in the LS10 area of Leeds.
This is a hands-on, relationship-led role where consistency, reliability, and attention to detail make a real difference to the individuals you support.
What you’ll be doing
Your shift will be focused on providing consistent, hands-on support to individuals in their own homes or care settings. You’ll help with personal care routines, ensuring each person starts and ends their day safely, comfortably, and with dignity.
Throughout your shift, you’ll support daily living needs such as meal preparation, assisting with feeding where required, and encouraging participation in activities that support wellbeing and independence.
You’ll monitor each individual’s condition closely, respond to any changes appropriately, and maintain clear, accurate records, including updates to care plans.
You’ll also work closely with GPs, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure care remains coordinated and responsive to each person’s needs.
In some situations, you may need to use de-escalation and diversion techniques to help maintain a calm, safe, and supportive environment.
