Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant

Permanent | Full-time | 8.30am – 4.30pm

NeneBrook Recruitment (NRG) is partnering with a well-established business to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance department on a permanent basis.

You will be working as part of a small, friendly finance team and should have strong all-round accounts experience with a practical, hands-on approach.

You will have:
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Experience using accounting software and/or payroll systems
  • Knowledge of MS Navision and/or Sage Payroll (advantageous)
  • Previous experience covering multiple aspects of accounts; AAT part-qualified or qualified by experience
Working closely with the finance team, your main duties will include:
  • Processing sales invoices
  • Processing customer receipts (bank and card)
  • Reconciling sales ledger balances
  • Debt collection and customer account follow-up
  • Checking credit card payments against amounts received in the bank
  • Providing sales information and reporting to the Director
  • Liaising with customers to resolve account queries
