£33,000 – £35,000 Basic

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm + Saturday rota 9-1pm

We are delighted to be working with a well-established and highly respected independent estate agency to recruit an experienced Lettings Manager for their busy Dorchester branch.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful multi-branch business offering Sales, Lettings, and Property Management services across Dorset. The role will play a key part in driving continued growth, with a particular focus on increasing market share in the Dorchester area, while upholding exceptional customer service standards.

The Role

As Lettings Manager, you will take full responsibility for the lettings function, operating with a high degree of autonomy whilst supporting and developing the wider team.

Key responsibilities:

• Conducting accurate market appraisals and converting valuations into new instructions
• Driving new business generation and increasing local market share
• Coaching, supporting, and motivating the lettings team to achieve targets
• Managing a portfolio of residential properties
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors, and applicants
• Monitoring competitor activity and local market trends
• Liaising with internal departments, including Finance and Property Management
• Reporting to Directors on performance and market conditions
• Ensuring full compliance with current lettings legislation

About You

Our client is seeking a confident, results-driven lettings professional with a strong track record in both valuations and property management.

Essential:

• Proven experience in a Lettings Manager position
• Strong working knowledge of current lettings legislation
• Demonstrated success in generating new business and winning instructions
• Ability to work independently and lead by example
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Professional, driven, and target-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Desirable:

• Minimum 2 years’ Property Management experience
• ARLA Level 3 qualification (preferred but not essential)
