Customer Service Team Leader

We’re looking for an experienced Team Leader to join a well-established distribution business in a fast-moving consumable goods sector.

In this role you’ll team lead 3 members of the customer service team. We are looking for someone bright, personable and looking for a long-term career.

The role is Monday – Thurs 9am – 5pm, with an earlier finish on Fridays. Salary is £34,000 + bonus and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as team leader to support the customer service team
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers
  • Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records
  • Support order processing and daily team activity
  • Help re-engage inactive customer accounts

About You

  • Previous experience being a team leader in an office-based environment
  • Previous experience within customer service or sales support/administration
  • Organised and confident working in a fast-paced environment
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach
  • Able to build long-term customer relationships
  • Good working knowledge of Word and Excel
