Warehouse Operative – Blackburn

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative – Blackburn to join our well-established client based in Blackburn.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing full-time work, weekly pay, excellent working hours, and the potential to secure a permanent position within a busy and supportive warehouse environment.

This role would also suit candidates who have previously worked as a Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Order Picker, LLOP Driver, Warehouse Picker, Goods In Operative, or FLT Operative.

Shifts

• Monday to Thursday – 08:45am – 16:45pm
• Friday – 08:45am – 15:45pm
• Early finish every Friday
• Monday to Friday working pattern
• No weekend working

Rates of Pay

• £12.71 per hour
• Weekly Pay

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Operating LLOP trucks safely and efficiently within the warehouse
• Picking and preparing customer orders accurately
• Carrying out general warehouse duties including picking, packing, loading, unloading, and replenishment of stock
• Completing paperwork and warehouse documentation accurately and on time
• Safely handling stock throughout the warehouse environment
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the shift
• Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Reporting any damaged stock, pallets, or equipment immediately
• Supporting the wider warehouse team to meet daily targets

Essential Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience operating LLOP trucks
• The ability to complete paperwork accurately
• A reliable and hardworking attitude
• The ability to work within a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Good attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Experience

• FLT or Counterbalance licence would be advantageous
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience would be beneficial

Training Provided

• Full site training provided
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
