A prestigious and highly regarded independent school in Kensington is seeking an experienced and inspirational Deputy Head (Pastoral) to join its senior leadership team from September. The successful candidate will be a compassionate, visible and forward-thinking leader with a genuine passion for pupil wellbeing, safeguarding and creating an environment where every child can flourish academically, socially and emotionally.

Working closely with the Headteacher and wider leadership team, the Deputy Head (Pastoral) will lead on all aspects of pastoral care and pupil wellbeing, helping to maintain the school's outstanding standards and nurturing ethos.

The Role:

• Full-time Deputy Head (Pastoral) position

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - essential
• Significant teaching and leadership experience within UK schools
• Previous senior leadership experience, ideally with pastoral responsibility
• Extensive safeguarding and pupil welfare knowledge
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
• A warm, approachable and highly professional manner
• Passion for delivering exceptional pastoral care and pupil outcomes
