This is an exciting opportunity to work for a national organisation as an interim Financial Reporting Manager. The role offers an immediate start.

Location: East Midlands | Hybrid Working (2 days on-site)

Rate: £300–£325 per day (Umbrella)

This position plays a key role in driving technical accounting, financial reporting, and control, working in a complex environment.

You will work closely with the senior leadership team and:

• Take ownership of internal and external reporting cycles
• Support audit delivery
• Provide technical accounting expertise across the wider business

You can:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
• Deliver accurate management reporting, analysis, and performance insight
• Own balance sheet control and reconciliations
• Manage audit preparation and stakeholder engagement
• Provide commercial and ad hoc analysis to support decision-making
• Lead and support a small finance team (to include coaching)

About you:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant
• 1st movers from Practice strongly considered with managerial experience
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Experience supporting or leading audit processes
• Confident partnering with senior stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a complex and changing environment
• Leadership skills are essential
