Reed Practice are working with a growing firm in the Liversedge area in the search for an additional Bookkeeper to join their tight-knit team. They are looking for a "forward-thinking" Senior Bookkeeper who wants to move away from "old-fashioned" methods and continue to drive the practice's digitisation. This is a pivotal role for an impressive candidate who can manage a significant "chunk of clients" and isn't afraid to "turn the technology on" by finding new ways to use Xero to further improve their services.

Key responsibilities: 

•    Managing the daily bookkeeping for a diverse range of small, family-run businesses

•    Using Xero and Dext at an expert level

•    Providing a full-service including VAT, credit control, with payroll a plus but not a requirement

•    Helping with the preparation of management and annual accounts

•    Embracing digital workflows

You will be able to demonstrate:

•    Candidates must have previous experience working specifically within an accountancy practice.

•    Expert knowledge of Xero is an absolute must-have.

•    They need someone who is forward-thinking and tech-savvy, not "old-fashioned" in their approach.

•    The ability to work independently and take full ownership of a client portfolio
