Our client, a well-established manufacturing business, is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to support robust financial reporting, deliver meaningful performance insight, and play a key role in stock control and cost management. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking to develop within a fast-paced, operational environment.

Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

• Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts with supporting analysis.
• Own stock accounting, including reconciliations, valuation, provisions, and variance analysis.
• Work closely with operations to understand manufacturing costs and performance drivers.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including labour and stock-related assumptions.
• Analyse margins, cost movements, and operational KPIs.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance and manufacturing processes.
• Build effective relationships with operational and commercial stakeholders.

Key essentials of the Management Accountant:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or stock-focused environment.
• Strong management accounting and cost analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel capability.
