About the Opportunity

You will be part of a specialist technical function responsible for diagnostics, system updates, product support and hands-on fault investigation across a rapidly evolving vehicle range. The work involves a mix of workshop-based tasks, field support and technical collaboration with cross-functional teams.

This is a role for someone who thrives on precision, problem-solving and working with cutting-edge vehicle platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Performing advanced diagnostics across electrical, electronic and mechanical vehicle systems
  • Supporting system updates, calibration work, and technical case resolution
  • Conducting component evaluations, fault tracing and hands-on repair activities
  • Working across hybrid and electric vehicle platforms, including high-voltage environments
  • Liaising with technical teams to support product improvements and resolve escalated issues
  • Ensuring work quality, safety compliance, and accurate reporting

Essential Requirements (Non-negotiable)

To be considered, you must demonstrate:

Prior experience within an automotive OEM environment

This includes manufacturer technical centres, OEM R&D/support functions, or franchised dealer networks working directly to OEM procedures.

Proven experience working on EV & hybrid vehicle systems

This may include:

  • High-voltage diagnosis/repair
  • EV battery systems
  • Software/firmware updates
  • OEM diagnostic platforms
  • EV safety accreditation (Level 3/Level 4 equivalent)

Strong diagnostic capability

Electrical, CANbus, software-driven systems, or advanced fault-finding exposure.

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to vehicle launch support, field investigations or technical escalation
  • Background in customer-facing technical roles or field technical support
  • Experience with high-voltage certifications, ADAS systems, or connected car platforms
