Lead Process Engineer (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt)

Hybrid – 3 days in office

£800–£900 per day Inside IR35

We are working with a leading Financial Services client who is looking for a Lead Process Engineer (Black Belt) to support and contribute to multiple change initiatives across the organisation.

The Role

  1. Design new workflows and processes, conducting thorough analysis to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and recommending solutions
  2. Implement strategies for continuous improvement, working closely with various departments to enhance overall organisational effectiveness
  3. Utilise data-driven insights to support informed decision-making
  4. Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, improvements, and best practices, ensuring knowledge is shared across the organisation
  5. Build and deliver change management strategies and plans as part of transformation initiatives
  6. Develop and execute communication strategies to effectively engage and inform stakeholder groups
  7. Manage stakeholder expectations, identifying when these need to be reset and escalating where required
  8. Understand and respond appropriately to different stakeholder perspectives
  9. Contribute to a positive team environment and support team morale

Required Experience

  1. Strong knowledge of improvement principles and best practices, supported by Lean Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification
  2. Experience in business analysis, process design, re-engineering, and optimisation, including workflow solutions and robotic process automation (RPA)
  3. Solid experience within the Financial Services industry
  4. Proven experience documenting and prioritising business requirements and/or user stories
  5. Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable benefits through process re-engineering
  6. Experience applying project management methodologies in delivery environments
  7. Strong experience in change management and working within agile environments
  8. Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and engaging approach
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop clear recommendations and high-quality written and visual content
  10. Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  11. Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes within Financial Services
  12. Demonstrated coaching and mentoring capabilities
  13. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
