Compliance Business Partner (flexible location) | Hybrid | Up to £95,000 + Bonus & Benefits

We are working with a large, Chartered insurance broker to recruit an experienced Compliance Professional into their established compliance team. This is a high-profile role within a well-regarded business, offering genuine influence at a senior level and the opportunity to shape compliance culture across a complex, multi-faceted organisation.

This is an opportunity for a commercially-minded compliance professional who understands the value of pragmatic, business-focused advice, someone who builds trusted relationships with senior stakeholders rather than simply policing from the sidelines.

The role:

• Champion compliance at all levels, partnering with the business and providing pragmatic, risk-based advice and support to key stakeholders
• Partner with business management to define and deliver the compliance strategy
• Map the regulatory framework, horizon scan for developments, and respond to new or changed regulation and legislation
• Assess whether policies, procedures, systems and controls fully address regulatory requirements
• Develop, implement and maintain an efficient compliance framework across policies, procedures, systems and controls
• Provide guidance to business management on required conduct standards and ethical behaviour, including the Code of Conduct

To apply:

• Proven experience in a compliance role within the insurance sector (preferably broker or Lloyd's market experience)
• Strong knowledge of FCA, PRA and Lloyd's regulations and how these apply in practice
• Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and challenge effectively at all levels, including senior leadership
• Commercially aware with the ability to provide pragmatic, solutions-focused compliance advice
• Comfortable working under pressure, managing competing priorities with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and professional approach
