An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Scientist to join a multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will have strong laboratory research experience, along with proven team leadership skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• PhD in Cell Biology, Immunology, or a related discipline, with postdoctoral research and/or commercial experience
• Experience in the design and execution of research projects
• Demonstrable proficiency in a range of cell biology techniques; experience in molecular biology or in vivo studies is desirable
• Experience managing and training junior scientists
• Knowledge of cancer biology and experience working with primary tumour cultures would be advantageous
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations in a laboratory environment
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, along with proficiency in IT tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets
• Self-motivated, with excellent time management, planning, and prioritisation skill
