Chalk Hill Group are supporting a fast-growing and highly respected accountancy and advisory firm in their search for a Senior Personal Tax Manager, based in Wokingham.

This role offers the chance to work with a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, sole traders, business owners and trusts, within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of c.150 personal tax clients
• Prepare and review personal tax returns
• Handle HMRC enquiries and disclosures
• Support Making Tax Digital (MTD) filings
• Prepare P11Ds and Capital Gains Tax returns
• Liaise directly with clients and HMRC
• Assist on advisory work (residence, CGT, IHT, trusts)
• Manage deadlines and workflow effectively

Candidate Profile:

• CTA qualified
• Extensive personal tax experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with ability to explain complex tax provisions to clients
• Experience with tax software (CCH desirable)
• Knowledge of residence rules and trust taxation advantageous
