Hygiene Operative – Food Production (Weekend Role)

£16.71 per hour

Permanent Position

We are currently supporting a food manufacturing environment in the Livingston area who are looking to appoint an experienced Hygiene Operative on a permanent weekend basis.

This role is suited to someone with a strong background in food production hygiene and a solid understanding of food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out scheduled cleaning of production areas and equipment
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in line with GMP and food safety requirements
• Following all hygiene, COSHH and health & safety procedures
• Supporting site cleanliness to ensure audit readiness
• Working independently and as part of a small weekend team

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food and drink manufacturing hygiene or industrial cleaning
• Good understanding of food safety standards and hygiene compliance
• Reliable, detail-focused approach to work
• Ability to follow strict cleaning schedules and procedures
• Availability to work consistent weekend shifts
