Noble Recruiting are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer for a 12month maternity contract based in Southend-on-sea, Essex

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Fixed term maternity contract - 12months

Monday to Friday's

We’re looking for a graphic designer to join the team on a fixed-term maternity cover while our Client's lead designer is away. This role sits right at the heart of the studio and will involve working closely with the Creative Director and Digital Strategist across a wide mix of projects.

You’ll work across a broad range of design tasks, including:

• Brand identity and brand systems
• Web design and digital layouts
• Print design and production-ready artwork
• Social media assets and campaign content
• Ongoing digital and marketing collateral
• You’ll be involved from early ideas through to delivery, often juggling different projects at once. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety and responsibility
• Working across both digital & print

This is a Client Facing Role, you will be:

• Speaking to clients on the phone
• Writing clear, confident emails
• Joining meetings and contributing ideas
• Explaining design decisions in a straightforward way

Person Specification:

• A solid graphic designer with strong fundamentals (min. 2 years experience)
• Comfortable working across both digital and print
• Experience with branding, layout, and visual systems
• Someone who can take direction but also bring ideas to the table
• Organised, reliable, and comfortable managing their own workload
• Happy working as part of a small, close-knit team
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Figma experience, Motion or After Effects knowledge is desirable, but not essential.
