Finance Assistant — Creative Design Studio | £26,000–£31,000 + Study Support + 33 Days Holiday

Are you a detail-driven finance enthusiast with a flair for creativity (or at least an appreciation for great design)? Join a bold, fast-growing design company in the heart of Brighton where no two days are the same — and spreadsheets meet sketchpads.

 What you’ll be doing:

• Keeping the finance engine running — invoices, bank recs, ledgers, and all things neat and reconciled
• Supporting month-end: journals, accruals, prepayments
• Helping prepare financial reports and management accounts
• Liaising with suppliers and clients to keep payment cycles smooth
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance
• Collaborating on budgeting, forecasting, and finance projects (think automation and system upgrades)
• Working closely with the Financial Controller to support strategic decisions
• Bringing fresh ideas — we love people who think beyond the spreadsheet

 What we’re looking for:

• Currently studying AAT or with 1–2 years’ experience in a finance role
• A keen eye for detail and a love for numbers (and maybe buildings too — we design them!)
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
• Ambitious, curious, and ready to grow with a supportive team
