We are seeking a proactive Assistant Project Manager to support delivery across complex Defence and National Security programmes. You will work within secure, high-impact environments, supporting projects to deliver against time, cost, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day project and workstream delivery
• Maintain project plans, schedules, and milestones
• Track actions and coordinate activities across teams
• Produce status reports, dashboards, and updates
• Maintain RAID logs and support risk and issue management
• Assist with change control and governance processes
• Support audit and assurance activities
• Liaise with stakeholders, delivery teams, and suppliers
• Support financial tracking, cost reporting, and forecasting
• Ensure project and financial data remains accurate

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Experience supporting project delivery within Defence, Government, or secure environments
• Knowledge of PRINCE2, Agile, or SAFe methodologies
• Strong organisational, reporting, and coordination skills
• Understanding of RAID management and governance processes
• Exposure to financial tracking and stakeholder engagement
