• Assist with daily reconciliations across multiple accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Support the preparation of monthly and year-end financial reports in line with internal controls and reporting requirements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Maintain well-organised financial documentation to support audit trails, reviews, and internal governance.
• Assist with payroll processing and other routine financial transactions as required.
• Work closely with the finance team to support compliance with relevant regulatory, governance, and internal policy standards.
• Provide assistance during internal and external audits, including preparation of supporting documentation.
• Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external financial queries.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• At least 1 years' background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is desirable.
• A sound understanding of core accounting principles and processes.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and well-organised records.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• A proactive and reliable approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
