The role
This interim Accounts Assistant role sits within a finance team of approximately 20 and plays a key role in supporting day-to-day transactional finance activities. The position will focus predominantly on the purchase ledger, processing a high volume of supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding, and resolving queries with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.You will also be responsible for statement reconciliations, supporting weekly payment runs, and assisting with month-end close activities such as accruals files and ledger checks. There is a strong emphasis on accuracy, speed, and process adherence within tight timelines.
