Contract: Interim (6-12 months)

We are seeking a highly experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a dynamic manufacturing business in Carlisle. This is a hands-on, interim position ideal for a professional with a strong manufacturing finance background who can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the finance function on an interim basis, ensuring continuity and operational excellence.
• Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Oversee management accounts, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Support strategic decision-making with insightful financial analysis.
• Drive improvements in systems, processes, and reporting.
• Lead and mentor a small finance team, ensuring compliance and best practice.

Essential Experience:

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of management accounts, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Interim or contract experience preferred.
• Hands-on, practical approach with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
