Key Account Administrator

Reed is partnering with a well-established business to recruit a Key Account Administrator. This role will act as the main point of contact between the company and its customers, supporting key accounts and online drop-ship partners with orders, enquiries, logistics, and customer communications.

The position requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve issues quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day duties of the role:

• Act as the primary point of communication between Company and business customers.
• Attend customer meetings virtually or in person to address any queries or issues.
• Respond promptly to quotations, order enquiries, and forecast requests, especially for online drop ship operations.
• Expedite the processing of Purchase Orders, including electronic drop ship orders, ensuring customers are regularly updated.
• Communicate lead times and potential impacts on customer Purchase Orders effectively.
• Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely delivery to the correct customer locations.
• Liaise with logistics companies and customers for the collection and delivery of orders.
• Prepare customer-specific labelling and communicate any new requirements to the appropriate staff.

• Confidence, patience, politeness, tact, and diplomacy when dealing with challenging situations.
• Knowledge of inventory systems such as Net Stock and Virtual Stock Drop Ship platform.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office; Sage X3 is preferred.
