If you’ve got a couple of years’ experience in an accountancy practice, you’ll probably have a good grounding in the basics by now and be starting to think about what comes next. Maybe you’re looking for more variety in your work, more responsibility, or simply a team where you feel supported and part of something.

This role offers a bit of everything. It’s with a friendly, growing firm in the South West that’s keen to bring in someone who can build on their existing experience, get stuck into a broad range of work, and continue developing at a pace that suits them. Whether your goal is to progress over time or settle into a stable, well-rounded role, there’s flexibility here to shape things in a way that works for you.

What you’ll be doing

It’s a nice all-round role where you’ll get involved in a bit of everything:

• Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Helping out with personal tax returns
• Bookkeeping and VAT work
• Speaking with clients when needed
• Working as part of a close-knit, office-based team

Your skills and experience

• Around 2+ years’ experience in an accountancy practice in the UK
• A team player who enjoys being in the office with others
• Experience of working with and supporting various clients and companies
