A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Regional Finance Manager to join a well-established multi-site organisation in a key business partnering role.

This is far more than a traditional finance position. You will work closely with senior operational leaders, influencing strategic decisions, supporting long-term financial planning, and helping drive organisational performance through meaningful financial insight.

The Role
As Regional Finance Manager, you will act as the lead finance contact for your regional portfolio, partnering with senior leaders to ensure budgets are effectively managed and financial performance remains aligned to wider organisational objectives.

You will take ownership of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and compliance, while also supporting ongoing process improvement initiatives across the wider finance function.

This role also offers leadership responsibility, including the management and development of Finance Officers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leaders and budget holders to provide strategic financial support and guidance
  • Produce and review monthly management accounts, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Deliver meaningful financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives
  • Provide clear commentary and recommendations around budget variances and financial performance
  • Support workforce and operational planning through financial modelling and scenario analysis
  • Prepare business cases to support investment and strategic decision-making
  • Ensure strong financial governance and compliance with relevant financial regulations and audit requirements
  • Drive value-for-money initiatives through benchmarking, spend analysis, and continuous improvement activity
  • Support the implementation of consistent finance processes and shared service improvements
  • Line manage and mentor a Finance Officer, supporting their ongoing development
About You
We are keen to speak with finance professionals who can demonstrate:
  • Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Regional Finance Manager, Finance Business Partner, or Senior Management Accountant role
  • Strong experience producing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
  • Excellent analytical and commercial finance skills
  • Confidence partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
