Interim Financial Controller - Lancaster
Contract | Immediate Start | 3-6 Months

Are you a finance whizz who thrives on turning numbers into strategy? We're on the hunt for an Interim Financial Controller to steer the financial ship for a dynamic business in Lancaster. This is your chance to bring structure, insight, and clarity to a growing organisation-without the long-term tie-down.

What you'll do:

• Take full ownership of the company's finance function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end processes, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis.
• Provide insightful financial commentary to guide senior management decisions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire the finance team to deliver excellence.
• Identify process improvements and implement best-practice financial controls.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance professional, ideally in a similar interim role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP/IFRS).
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and Excel mastery.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and driving change.
