Chef Supervisor – Full Time

Reed is recruiting an experienced Chef Supervisor for a full-time, site-based catering role in Belfast. This is a hands-on leadership position with strong daytime hours and excellent pay.

Role Details

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 7am – 3pm
• 1 in 4 Saturdays (paid as overtime)
• £17.05 per hour
• Free parking & free EV charging

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and supervising high-quality food service
• Menu planning, ordering, and stock control
• Ensuring full compliance with HACCP, COSHH, and allergen controls
• Managing food costs, portion control, and waste
• Daily till, safe, and monthly banking procedures
• Supervising, training, and motivating kitchen staff
• Updating digital menus and supporting occasional events

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef Supervisor / Managing Chef
• Strong food safety and health & safety knowledge
• Proven leadership experience in a professional kitchen
• Financial awareness including budget and stock control
• Relevant culinary qualification (NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
