Reed are working with a government organisation based in Taunton to recruit an experienced Project Manager (with Security Clearance) for a genuinely value-adding role. This is a hybrid position, offering flexibility while playing a key part in delivering change that supports the organisation’s wider corporate objectives.

This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of change projects, ensuring benefits, capability and outcomes are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Day-to-day management of assigned projects from initiation through to closure
• Managing project resources to deliver outputs on time, within scope and budget
• Producing and managing project plans, schedules and deliverables
• Applying delivery governance, including risk, issue and change control
• Providing clear progress reporting and escalating issues where required
• Managing project dependencies and working closely with other Project Managers
• Forecasting and controlling project budgets and resource plans
• Leading day-to-day communication with project teams and external suppliers
• Ensuring solutions meet business requirements, standards and quality expectations
• Managing transition of completed solutions into business-as-usual operations
• Leading end-of-project reviews and embedding lessons learned

This role would suit a confident Project Manager with current security clearance, with strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience delivering complex change within a structured governance environment.
