Demand Planner (FMCG) Vacancy

  • Salary: up to £50k per annum DOE
  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Full-time: Mon – Fri, 9am – 6pm (Hybrid working: 2-3 days onsite/ 2-3 days WFH)

Join our dynamic EMEA Operations planning team as a Demand Planner, where you will play a crucial role in managing and forecasting the demand for finished goods across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This position is based in Uxbridge, London and involves occasional travel within Europe.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Process, analyse, and track forecasts received from distribution partners and bottlers to ensure MRP and supply planning are driven by the latest demand information.
  • Regularly identify risks associated with slow-moving and obsolete finished goods, reporting and following up closely with other functional teams.
  • Maintain forecast demand within SAP IBP, ensuring the system holds the latest details to support operational plans.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with bottlers, distribution partners, and cross-functional team members.
  • Support the development and implementation of improved forecasting, demand planning software, and S&OP processes.
  • Monitor potential stock-outs due to changes in demand or delays in supply, taking immediate action to ensure product availability.
  • Work closely with the new product development team to support new product launch plans and timelines.
  • Lead demand review meetings and support the S&OP Manager in holding various S&OP process meetings, both internally and externally with distribution partners, while regularly publishing forecasting performance metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in demand planning within the FMCG sector.
  • Preferential experience with SAP IBP.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working in a cross-functional international team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of S&OP processes and demand planning factors model.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently, achieve goals, and meet timelines.
  • Demonstrates high energy, a focus on results, and a strong sense of urgency and responsibility.
