We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a creative and motivated Trainee Graphic Designer to join their growing marketing team based in Rochford.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within graphic design and marketing. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across design, branding, photography, and video content, while working within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

The Role

As a Trainee Graphic Designer, you will support the marketing team in creating personalised branded materials and engaging visual content for customers and campaigns. You’ll be involved in projects from concept through to production, while also developing your skills across multiple creative disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Create personalised branded products and artwork based on customer requirements
• Manage and respond to design and personalisation requests via email
• Liaise with customers by phone and email regarding artwork and orders
• Assist with producing marketing materials and design assets
• Support photography projects, including product and lifestyle imagery
• Assist with creating short and long-form video content for social media, exhibitions, and marketing campaigns

Requirements

• Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including:
• Illustrator
• InDesign
• Photoshop
• Strong communication and written skills
• Organised with good time management abilities
• Confident speaking with customers over the phone and via email
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
• Creative mindset with attention to detail

Experience

• Previous commercial experience is not essential
• Ideal opportunity for a graduate, college leaver, or junior designer looking to build a career in graphic design and marketing
