Position: Assistant Estate Manager

Location: Paddington Gardens, London, W2 1AW

Working Hours:Monday to Friday 0830 – 1700

Salary:  £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)  

Contract: A permanent position that offers stability and room for growth.

Development Details:

This role is based at Paddington Gardens, a luxury modern residential development comprising four high-rise buildings and around 355 private apartments. The estate features a school, hotel, retail units, secure underground parking, and beautifully landscaped gardens - all within walking distance of Paddington Station.


Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

As an Assistant Estate Manager at Rendall & Rittner:

  • Assist and deputise for the Estate Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across the development.
  • Support the Estate Manager with contractor management, RAMS review, permits to work etc.
  • Champion a five-star resident experience across all touchpoints, setting and maintaining the highest service standards throughout the development.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, carrying out required inspections and maintaining a safe environment for all.
  • Act as a point of escalation for resident queries, complaints and requests, ensuring all matters are resolved promptly, professionally and to the resident's satisfaction.
  • Ensure all front-of-house areas, communal spaces and service interactions consistently reflect the premium nature of Paddington Gardens.
  • Implement and enforce the standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring compliance from all team members at all times.
  • Line manage the day and night concierge staff and security, providing clear direction, support and day-to-day leadership.
  • Address performance or conduct issues in a timely and constructive manner, in line with company HR policies.
  • Build a motivated, engaged team culture focused on continuous improvement, accountability and pride in the development.
  • Support budgeting, financial reporting and any ad hoc reporting requirements for the development.
